Sweden Arena will premiere in PyeongChang

In collaboration with partners such as EUROSPORT, scania and ericsson Sweden Arena was built in peyongchang, South Korea.

The house was located nearby the Olympic slopes in the mountain area.

-Together with our partners we will create a natural and vibrant environment for all Swedish companies and brands who wants to be connected with the Olympic movement. We will stage daily events the will see media, royalty and Olympians in Sweden Arena, says Anna Lundin, marketing director at Swedish Olympic Committee.

Sweden Arena is located in Nations Village in Yongpyong an area that will come to life during the games in February 2018.

-Inside Sweden Arena we will have a live studio where we can send all press conferences live, says Emir Osmanbegovic, sports director at Discovery Networks Sweden and Eurosport.

Sweden Arena will also host receptions with international guests in collaboration with the Swedish embassy in South Korea. Swedish companies can use the house during the games to get the best things about Sweden in one arena.

-The Olympic Games gives is a unique event that catches the eye of the world. This partnership gives us a great opportunity to be seen in a region where we are establishing our company as an important partner to create sustainable transport solutions. We really wanted to be a part of Sweden Arena from the start and hopes that this will become a tradition for future games in Tokyo and Beijing, says Scanias Anders Gustafsson, Executive Regional Director for Scania in Asia and Oceania.

THE SWEDISH OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

The Swedish Olympic Committee, SOC was founded on the 27th of April 1913 at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. 

The committee consists of 36 member federations, the national sports federations for the olympic sports and 18 recognized federations.

The mission for SOC is to prepare and operate the country´s participation at the Olympic Games and contribute to competitive Olympic teams. Based upon this, SOC will strive for:
